Creams
All mains de mariposa creams are hand crafted in small batches. They contain many food grade ingredients and no chemical stabilizers or preservatives. None. Period.
They are packaged in lined aluminum tubes that slow rancidity because they are in minimal contact with the air. This also prevents you from introducing bacteria by putting your finger in it. And, of course, you'll love that they're recyclable. They're also sealed with a puncture seal, so you'll have to puncture the tip when you receive it to open it.
They have their expiry dates stamped into the end and dates are set at approximately 1 year depending on the cream. This is the minimum shelf life under normal conditions. It will generally last much longer than a year if you keep it cool.
Each ingredient has been specifically chosen to help enhance the benefits of the cream and only therapeutic essential oils are used to scent the creams, or the natural ingredients themselves.

Health Canada does not consider shea to be a nut but instead a fruit. However, if you have an allergy to nuts please keep in mind most of my products contain shea butter. I am very happy to accomodate special requests for prepaid products that are made without shea.
